Is it really free?
Yes. One property with the complete system is free forever: page, calendar, booking requests, messaging, six languages. Paid plans add more properties and power features, but you’ll never need one to host your circle.
Can I keep my Airbnb or Booking.com listing?
Yes. Your PrivateStay calendar syncs both ways with Airbnb and Google Calendar, so a booking on one side automatically blocks the dates on the other. Many owners run both, and move their favourite guests over to their private page, one stay at a time.
How do guests pay me?
Directly. You agree payment with your guest the way you already do with people you know: bank transfer or whatever suits you both. PrivateStay never sits between you and your money. That’s the whole point.
Do my guests need an account?
They register once, with their real name, so you always know exactly who’s requesting to stay. It takes a minute, and it’s what keeps your circle genuinely private.
Do I need technical skills?
If you can post a photo to a group chat, you can build your page. A guided setup walks you through it step by step. Most owners are live in about ten minutes.
What if someone I don’t know requests to book?
Nothing happens without you. Every follower and every booking request waits for your personal approval. Friend of a friend or not, you always have the final say. Our very first booking was a friend of a friend, and they were the best guests we’d had in five years.
