PrivateStay is a private vacation rental platform built on trust, not algorithms.
There is no public search. There are no middlemen fees on your stay. Properties are shared directly by hosts — via a private link — and access to each listing is controlled entirely by the owner.
Think of it as a members-only rental network: you either know the place, or you ask to be introduced.
How it works
For hosts, PrivateStay lets you create a beautiful private listing page and share it directly with the people you choose to welcome. You control who gets access, manage bookings on your terms, and receive payment directly — no commission taken by the platform on your stay.
For guests, PrivateStay properties are discovered through personal recommendations and direct links. When you find a listing you're interested in, you request access. The host reviews your request and decides whether to approve you. Once approved, you can see the full listing and submit a booking request.
What makes it different
On most rental platforms, anyone can find your property through a search engine, book it instantly, and pay through the platform — which takes a cut. PrivateStay works the opposite way.
Your listing is private by default. It does not appear in any search engine or public directory. The only way a guest can find it is if you share the link directly. And when they do visit, they cannot see the full listing until you have approved their request to access it.
There is also no commission. When a guest pays for their stay, the money goes straight to you by bank transfer — PrivateStay does not take a percentage. The platform's only revenue comes from the optional Pro subscription for hosts.
