Your profile

How to complete and update your profile — name, phone number, and avatar.


Your profile is shared with hosts and guests during the booking process. Keeping it complete and accurate helps build trust on both sides.

What's in your profile

Your full name is shown to hosts when you request access to a property or submit a booking — it is how they know who you are. Your phone number is shared with a host when you submit a booking request, so they have a way to reach you directly. Your profile photo appears on your host listing page, in your messages, and on your public reviews profile. And your bio shows up on your listing page under the Meet your host section, if you are a host.

Update your profile

Go to Dashboard → Account → Profile and edit any field. Changes are saved immediately.

Phone number

Your phone number is optional but recommended. When you submit a booking request as a guest, your phone number is included in the notification email sent to the host and is visible in the host's booking dashboard. It is never shown publicly or to other guests.

Enter your phone number with the country dial code using the country selector in the profile form.

Profile photo

Your profile photo appears in:

  • Your host card on your listing page (if you are a host)
  • Your messages and conversations
  • Your public reviews profile

Upload a clear photo of yourself. You can upload a new photo at any time from the profile page.

Bio

The bio field is used on your host listing page under the Meet your host section. Write a short introduction — a few sentences about yourself and your property is ideal.

Tip

As a host, a complete profile with a photo and bio builds trust with prospective guests and increases the likelihood of approved follow requests.
