PrivateStay offers four plans for hosts: Free, Plus, Pro, and Portfolio. Guests always use the platform for free — plans only apply to hosts managing a listing.
Free
The Free plan gives you everything you need to get started: one property listing, up to 10 gallery photos, one pricing tier, and your listing in two languages (English plus one other, which you can change up to three times a month). You can sync one external calendar via iCal. Access requests, direct messaging, booking management, automated arrival and departure emails, and reviews are all included, and stay included on every plan.
Plus
Plus is built for making a single property shine. It includes everything in Free, plus:
- Unlimited gallery photos
- Your listing in all six languages (English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Portuguese), with DeepL auto-translation
- Unlimited pricing tiers, so you can price by season or stay length
- Minimum and maximum night rules per season
Plus still connects one external calendar, the same as Free.
Pro
Pro is built for running an operation across several properties. It includes everything in Plus, plus:
- Three properties included, with room to add up to two more (extra properties are billed per property, up to five total)
- Unlimited external calendar connections, synced both ways
- Analytics: visitor names, your most interested followers, conversion from visit to booking, activity patterns, and traffic sources
- Letters — send an email to all your approved followers at once
- A custom subdomain for your listing, and the option to remove the "Powered by PrivateStay" footer
- Priority support
Guest payments through Stripe and a custom email sender address are planned Pro features, coming soon — for now, guests pay hosts directly by bank transfer on every plan.
Portfolio
Portfolio is for hosts managing a larger collection of properties — up to ten in total, with everything included in Pro. If you manage more than ten properties, contact us and we'll find the right setup together.
Which plan is right for you
- One property, casual hosting: Free covers you completely.
- One property, want it to look its best in every language: Plus.
- A few properties, want to actually run them as a business: Pro.
- A larger collection of properties: Portfolio.
Platform fee on stays
No plan includes a commission on stays. PrivateStay never takes a percentage of what guests pay you — every plan is a flat annual subscription, nothing more.
